On this On-line Course, we will show you how to integrate this unique visual process into your phonics programmes so you can help students who are struggling to segment and blend, have a diagnosis of dyslexia or are simply struggling with basic word skills to learn more effectively.

You will also learn how mental imagery is a vital skill for number skills, for both understanding core concepts and also creating automaticity of number facts.

Dear Educator,

Sara Haboubi and Paula Montie here and we are learning coaches and trainers with a combined experience of 45+ years. Our passion is helping students, who were previously thought to be ‘learning disabled’, become successful, confident and independent learners.

We know we have found a process that truly works......so you don't have to waste time on the strategies you have seen that don’t.

We have worked with hundreds of children and their families, sharing with them the Jumpstarting Learning™ Processes and seeing the amazing results that can be achieved. We have also been working with educators in the UK, Ireland and worldwide, enabling professionals to learn how to help the students who continue to struggle to read and spell and are failing to meet expected levels despite excellent phonics programmes and instruction.

We know that the figure is around 10%-20% and the gap gets wider as students go continue through the system, putting extra stress on school staff, parents and learners alike. Often, struggles with early learning of basic skills lead to a loss of self-esteem, confusion, frustration and often anger and lack of motivation – sometimes these can lead to behaviour issues as well.

What is the Solution?

We have found a process that really works - The Jumpstarting™ Process, based on the work of Olive Hickmott of Empowering Learning UK. We want to help as many struggling students as possible around the world. The most effective way for us to do that is to ensure that teachers have the same tools that we, and all the other educators that we have trained so far, are using with such amazing results.

SO... we are now offering our training online so you can learn this at your own pace and in your own time.

Once you add the Jumpstarting™ Processes into your teaching ‘tool box’, you will be able to help your students make rapid and dramatic improvements in their spelling and reading and also basic numbers skills.

Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll learn.

By the end of this very practical programme you will:

  • Have a clear insight into the nature and symptoms of dyslexia.
  • Understand the neuroscience behind how we learn to read and spell and what happens for children with dyslexia.
  • Understand why a synthetic phonics programme simply does not suit some brains!
  • Learn how to use a strengths-based coaching approach to cater for neurodiversity in the classroom.
  • Be able to teach your children how to access a calm, effective learning state.
  • Know how to coach your struggling students to use their mental imagery more effectively so they can begin to experience success with spelling, reading, mental maths and many other areas of learning.
  • Create an action plan for integrating the Jumpstarting™ Processes into your normal practice.
  • Have the opportunity to share and discuss experiences with other professionals through our on-line community.

Once you fully understand and implement these processes in your classes, groups or one to one sessions, you’ll be able to see results almost right away....
